Jev Ultrafast — a browser agent whose action space is rebuilt every step

A browser agent from the Browser Use team. Every observation produces a fresh element table, and Jev picks an operation and a target over that table — not over a fixed schema written in advance.

The operations are CLICK, TYPE_TEXT, SELECT, SCROLL_UP, SCROLL_DOWN, WAIT, DONE and BLOCKED, and only the ones the current page actually supports are offered. That is the design idea: the Choice's option set is rebuilt per step from what is on screen, so the model is never asked to pick something it cannot do.

The targets are asked speculatively, in the same request. click_target, type_text_target and select_target are each answered against only the elements compatible with that operation, and once the operation Choice lands, the matching target is the one that executes and the rest are discarded. Two decisions, one network round trip — which is where the name comes from.

Jev does not write text. When the operation is TYPE_TEXT a small LLM produces the string, and it is told the page is untrusted data. Judgment and generation stay separate jobs.

Zürich to London on Google Flights in 7.1 seconds, including generation and loading waits, with no site-specific scripts or prepared field strings in the policy.
